Rockford HA Invests in Solar Panels

The Rockford Housing Authority is completing a three-year, $7.2 million energy performance upgrade at nine of its 11 developments. Each site — aside from Fairgrounds Valley and Brewington Oaks, which are awaiting redevelopment — has gotten a new, more efficient system, including lighting, appliances, insulation, water, heating and cooling.
