Hannah R. Lamore concentrates her practice in municipal law and civil litigation. Her municipal practice is focused on representing municipalities in Will, Kendall, Kankakee and DeKalb counties, as well as public housing authorities across the state of Illinois. Hannah provides general corporate counsel to municipal entities, as well as representation in complex litigation. Hannah has represented municipalities in both state and federal court as well as before the Illinois Department of Human Rights, Public Access Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General and federal agencies.

In addition to her municipal practice, Hannah represents individuals and corporations in property disputes. Hannah has vast experience in landlord-tenant law having successfully prosecuted hundreds of eviction actions on behalf of landlords. Hannah advises clients on a variety of property issues, including lease formation and termination, division of equity, zoning amendments and enforcement and alleged violations of fair housing laws. Hannah is committed to using her experience to provide cost-effective solutions to her clients.

Hannah is admitted to the Bar of the State of Illinois, Northern District of Illinois and Central District of Illinois.

In addition to her professional experience, Hannah is active in local and state bar associations. As a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, she completed Fred Lane’s Trial Techniques Institute and graduated from the inaugural Leadership Academy. She is appointed to the Civil Practice and Procedures Section Council, as well as the Young Lawyers Division, in which she currently serves as Vice-Chair. Hannah is involved with the Will County Bar Association and she is the immediate past President of the Will County Women’s Bar Association. She regularly moderates continuing legal education courses ranging from ethical billing to applied theater techniques for lawyers.

Hannah graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Pro Bono Notation from the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, Hannah competed with the College of Law Trial Team, served as Administrative Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review and represented abused and neglected minors as part of the Family Advocacy Clinic. Hannah was presented a Rickert Award for Excellence – the highest award presented by the College of Law – in recognition for her service to the College and legal community. She is a former Celia M. Howard Fellowship recipient. Hannah externed for the Honorable Terrence J. Lavin of the First District Illinois Appellate Court as a law student. Hannah graduated with High Honors and as a James Scholar from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Media and Cinema Studies and minors in Political Science and Informatics.

Hannah serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Joliet. She is a graduate of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry Community Leadership School.
