Land Bank Hires FT Executive

DANVILLE – The Central Illinois Land Bank Authority board of directors approved hiring a full-time executive director. The board at its Thursday meeting approved Michael Davis as director. Davis was chosen from about 10 candidates who were narrowed down for interviews.  Commercial-News.com

Winter Weather Freezes Evictions

The Housing Authority of Champaign County is temporarily freezing eviction actions for the cold-weather months, effective immediately. The moratorium will be effective through March 1, 2020, on enforcements of all non-violent and non-criminal-activity-related evictions from properties owned or managed by the housing authority.  News-Gazette.com
