Mahoney, Silverman & Cross, LLC is pleased to announce that our partner, James A. Murphy will have some of his original oil paintings exhibited at The Artist Guild of Lockport’s Tagol Origins V Group Show, which opens with a reception on September 22, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. and runs through November 17, 2018 at the Flower of Life Art Gallery, 1601 S. State Street in Lockport, Illinois.
Jim’s attention to detail and creativity as an attorney is also reflected on canvas. Jim has been drawing, sketching and painting since childhood. He works with oil, ink, graphite and charcoal. While he and his wife were busy raising their daughter and son, Jim took some time away from painting, but now that his children are grown and in college, Jim has found a little more free time to get back to his art. One of his abstract oil paintings (below) will also be featured at the show.
